Marcia D'Antonio is the General Manager and has over 10 years of experience in the localization industry. Prior to Rio-Translations, Marcia was the General Manager of SimulTrans’ office in Brazil. Marcia’s extensive experience includes managing several large-scale localization projects for telecommunications, IT, hardware and software clients. She has the best relationship with the most qualified translators in Rio de Janeiro as she worked with them since 1995. She knows who is the right linguist for each project.    Alexandre Almeida – Software Engineer – He has experience in the most used localization tools such as: Trados, SDLX, Microsoft Locstudio, etc. He worked for some of the most known Localization Software Companies (e.g. Lionbridge, Logoscript, etc.) His knowledge in CAT tools help us to prepare the files in order to keep our TMs updated, maintaining the good quality of our projects. Carol Fortunato – Project Manager, Translator and Proofreader – She is a Journalist with 5 years experience in the technical translation market. As a Project Manager she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, ensuring translation quality and deadlines. She is the Point of Contact between client and translation team throughout the duration of projects. She has the knowledge and experience in translation and localization, taking over projects as leading translator offering guidance and creating glossaries, reference materials and strategies. Adelaide Pimenta – Account Manager – She worked as an Account Manager for 2 years in SimulTrans Rio with Marcia. She has internal and external responsibility from key revenue lines for the business. She reviews, approves and executes contractual agreements based on established limits. She prepares management reports for analysis of indicators and results. She is also responsible for all the payments process in the company. Partners Elizabeth (Beth) Braga – Consulting Partner– She is specialized in localization, translation and linguistic review, with more than 25 years of experience in the localization industry. Her ability to provide comprehensive solutions for translation and localization makes her one of the most respected and experienced linguists in Brazil.  She offers her language services to both local and international companies within a variety of specializations (medical, telecom, technology, marketing, SAP, ERP, etc.). Veronica Novais – Consulting Partner – She has more than 10 years of experience in the localization of software and technical documentation, and have worked for major translation companies in Brazil. She has also worked with major technology companies, such as Xerox, Novell and Microsoft. Her professional experience includes a variety of fields, from localization of software and hardware to medical and pharmaceutical projects.
